A new handset has been launched by Nokia that adds to its premium line of mobile phones.
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is the latest slider handset to add to the manufacturer's premium series and uses materials that the company believes "reflect a new exclusivity based on refinement and authenticity".
It is reported that the handset is crafted from carbon fibre, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel and Nokia states the new 8800 Carbon Arte is targeted at "individuals who appreciate uncompromised high performance".
The handset is equipped with 3G connectivity and a 3.2-megapixel camera that features auto focus. Audio playback and al OLED display accompany an integrated 4GB memory and the phone also has an anti-fingerprint coating.
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is expected to be launched during the third quarter of 2008 across Europe.
Nokia's original 8800 Arte is currently available at the Carphonewarehouse on a range of contracts, including O2 and Orange tariffs.
