More details have emerged over Orange's launch of the latest series of BlackBerry mobile phones.
Research In Motion's (RIM) new BlackBerry Bold is now available to UK consumers and according to Orange is a smartphone that will be "a must-have" for business users.
Francois Mahieu, director of devices at Orange UK, said the network was pleased to be able to offer the handset.
"It's great that Orange is able to work closely with RIM to bring this fantastic smartphone to both business and consumer users in the UK," he said.
The BlackBerry Bold is equipped with 3G and 3G+ HSDPA connectivity as well as GPS, Wi-Fi and a host of multimedia features.
Orange has stated that from August 16th the mobile phones will be available to UK consumers free on tariffs starting at £40 per month.
Singer-songwriter John Mayer was one of the first to profess his love for RIM's new handset, posting an online blog praising the device earlier this year.
